The “Goverlan” part in this application’s name refers to the fact that it is a Goverlan product. And Goverlan, it must be mentioned, is a leading provider of IT support and remote management software. Moving on, the “Remote Control” part in this application’s name refers to the fact that it can be used to establish a connection with a remote computer; and once a connection has been established, the application can be used to remotely control that computer.

Goverlan Remote Control is available as a Free and as a Full Edition. The Free Edition won’t cost you a thing but, as you can see here, it doesn’t have that many features to offer. The Full Edition is feature-complete; you can use this edition for free for a trial period of 30 days. Once that trial period is over, you’ll have to purchase a license.

Download an installer, run it, follow the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. These are the standard steps one must go through to install most applications on a Windows PC. They’re also the steps you must go through to install Goverlan Remote Control on your Windows PC.

Goverlan Remote Control has a tabbed, ribbon interface that can be customized: multiple color styles are available for the interface, you can change the font size, you can set it up so the ribbon will automatically minimize, you can choose what hotkey activates Monitoring View, and more.

And now, a look at Goverlan Remote Control’s key features: connect via Goverlan, Microsoft RDP, VNC, and more; quickly access user logged-in machines with fastConnect; remotely monitor multiple machines; offer remote assistance; instant messaging and group chat; transfer files to remote machines; remotely shut down a machine; record remote control sessions; Stealth Mode; Observe-only Mode; and more.

30 days should be more than enough time for you to uncover everything that Goverlan Remote Control can do.

Goverlan Remote Control is the perfect choice for remotely offering assistance, remotely monitoring others, and remotely accessing and controlling machines.
